The Miami Meet the Market provides an opportunity to discuss the future of the Latin American insurance business and Lloyds involvement in regional projects. This event is designed for sharing experiences, as well as for strengthening relationships with existing customers.

This year, Challenge Group Brokers (UK) Ltd., as an accredited Lloyds broker, also participated in the meeting. Latin America is an important region for Challenge Group in a wide range of business directions, including agriculture, energy, aviation, and many others.

Speakers at the event highlighted issues related to the Latin American insurance market. The speakers included John Neil, Lloyds CEO and Daniel Revilla, Lloyds Head for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The important topic of the growing digitalisation of the insurance business was raised.

Digital technology is already widely used in insurance: Big Data, Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things. This is not only a more convenient way to attract new customers and retain current ones, but also a way to improve the quality and speed of service. Particular attention was paid to the development of the least digitalised section of insurance activity - the settlement of losses.
